1- Nobel laureate Abhijit Vinayak Banerjee was conferred the honorary Doctor of Letters (D.Litt.) by his alma mater Calcutta University at its annual convocation in Kolkata. 

🔹कलकत्ता विश्वविद्यालय ने कोलकाता में अपने वार्षिक दीक्षांत समारोह में नोबेल पुरस्कार विजेता अभिजीत विनायक बनर्जी को डी लिट् की मानद उपाधि प्रदान की।

2- The Ramsar Convention has declared 10 more wetlands in India as sites of international importance. With this, a total of 37 sites in the country have been recognised under the international treaty. 

🔹रामसर संधि के तहत भारत के 10 जलक्षेत्रों को अंतरराष्ट्रीय महत्व के जलक्षेत्र का दर्जा दिया गया है। इसके साथ ही भारत में अंतरराष्ट्रीय महत्व के जलक्षेत्रों की संख्या 37 हो गयी है।

3- Ace Indian cueist Pankaj Advani claimed yet another Senior National Billiards Championship title with a 5-2 win over Sourav Kothari in a pulsating final. 

🔹भारत के शीर्ष क्यू खिलाड़ी पंकज आडवाणी ने सीनियर राष्ट्रीय बिलियर्ड्स चैम्पियनशिप के फाइनल में सौरव कोठारी को 5-2 से हराकर एक और खिताब अपने नाम किया।

4- The CISF has been declared as the 'best marching contingent' amongst CAPFs and other auxiliary squads during the Republic Day parade this year. 

🔹गणतंत्र दिवस पर इस साल आयोजित परेड में केंद्रीय औद्योगिक सुरक्षा बल (सीआईएसएफ) को केंद्रीय सशस्त्र पुलिस बलों की श्रेणी में सर्वश्रेष्ठ मार्चिंग दस्ते का पुरस्कार दिया गया है।

5- Senior diplomat Taranjit Singh Sandhu has been appointed as India's Ambassador to the US. 

🔹वरिष्ठ राजनयिक तरनजीत सिंह संधू को अमेरिका में भारत का राजदूत नियुक्त किया गया है। 

6- Renowned Indian environmental economist and UN Environment Programme (UNEP) Goodwill Ambassador Pavan Sukhdev has won the 2020 Tyler Prize, regarded as the "Nobel Prize for the Environment" for his groundbreaking "green economy" work. 

🔹प्रख्यात भारतीय पर्यावरण अर्थशास्त्री और संयुक्त राष्ट्र पर्यावरण कार्यक्रम (यूएनईपी) के सदभावना दूत पवन सुखदेव को ‘‘हरित अर्थव्यवस्था’’ पर उनके अभूतपूर्व कार्य के लिए 2020 का टायलर पुरस्कार दिया जाएगा। इस पुरस्कार को पर्यावरण का नोबेल पुरस्कार माना जाता है।

7- Sachin Bansal has resigned from the board of Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Ltd citing that an entity owned and controlled by him has applied for a universal banking licence. 

🔹फ्लिपकार्ट के सह-संस्थापक सचिन बंसल ने उज्जीवन स्मॉल फाइनेंस बैंक लिमिडेट के निदेशक मंडल से इस्तीफा दे दिया है। उनका कहना है कि उनके स्वामित्व और नियंत्रण वाली इकाई ने बैंकिंग लाइसेंस के लिए आवेदन किया है।

8- Indian cyclist Esow Alben has bagged a gold in the men's Keirin individual event of the Six Day Berlin Tournament. 

🔹भारतीय साइकिलिस्ट एसो एल्बेन ने छह दिन तक चलने वाले बर्लिन टूर्नामेंट के कीरिन व्यक्तिगत स्पर्धा में स्वर्ण पदक हासिल किया।

9- New Zealand leg-spinner Todd Astle has announced his retirement from first-class cricket to focus on the limited-overs formats. 

🔹न्यूजीलैंड के लेग स्पिनर टॉड एस्टल ने सीमित ओवरों के प्रारूप पर ध्यान देने के लिये प्रथम श्रेणी क्रिकेट से संन्यास ले लिया है। 

10- Quick service restaurant chain Burger King India has received markets regulator Sebi's approval for an initial public offer. 

🔹त्वरित सेवा रेस्तरां श्रृंखला बर्गर किंग इंडिया को एक प्रारंभिक सार्वजनिक प्रस्ताव के लिए बाजार नियामक सेबी की मंजूरी मिल गई है।
